Sunrise Ranch is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains west of Loveland, Colorado about forty minutes north of Boulder, 1.5 hours from Denver. It offers a retreat- like atmosphere in beautiful natural surroundings which lends itself ideally to a week of shakuhachi playing and shared camaraderie amongst all participants.

Single, double and triple rooms are available as well as camping facilities. All accommodations share nearby lavatories and showers (average about 1 per every 6 rooms) and a set of linens and towels will be provided.

Lodging fee includes all meals and use of facilities which include a swimming pool and tennis court and hot-tub.

Dining facilities serve wholesome and delightful food in a buffet style and much of the food during the summer comes from the Ranch’s own extensive organic gardens and farm. Vegetarian fare is always offered in addition to frequent meat, fish and poultry dishes. Most special diets can be accommodated within the regular meal plan. There is also an outside deck and picnic area around a large pond, community gardens and orchard. Besides tennis and swimming there is opportunity for splendid hiking in the foothills of the ranch’s 400 acre property. 

Price per night includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and occasional snacks

• Single Room: $122/night = $488 for 4 nights

• Double Room: $99/night, each person = $396 for 4 nights

• Triple Room: $88/night each person = $352 for 4 nights

• Dorm Room: $81/night each person = $324 for 4 nights

• Camping: $64/night per person = $256 for 4 nights

• Commuter (including meals): $57/day per person = $228 for 4 days

• Commuter (no meals): $30/day = $120 for 4 days

• Extra meals $9.00 lunch $14 dinner

Lodging costs should be paid in full at the beginning of Camp, at the Sunrise Ranch Office .

Early arrivals and late departures

Accommodations will be made available for those participants who wish to arrive early and spend the night at Sunrise Ranch on Wednesday, October 8 before the beginning of camp on Thursday, October 9. The cost should be added to your accomodation total.. No dinner will be served that evening and you can take a $10 credit on the price of the room for that night only.

Also, we can accommodate people who wish to stay an extra night on Monday October 13, after camp has ended. Just let Sunrise Ranch know ASAP so they can reserve your room. This night will be an additional cost, at the full room and board price for one night, with no credit for missed meals.
